Career Pathway

Your career pathways in beauty therapy are diverse and exciting. Anyone wanting to start a career in beauty can do it.

The majority of qualified beauty therapists work either in salons or health spas. There are also opportunities for working in sports clubs, therapy clinics, department stores, clubs, airline companies and hotels as well as ocean liners and on film and television. For those who put in the work, your career opportunity could even take you to a supervisory or management level within two or three years of finishing your qualifying exams.

Finally, as you gain more experience in the beauty industry, you will have the opportunity to pass on your knowledge to aspiring therapists as a tutor.

For the entrepreneur, you can also choose to be self-employed as a freelancer (mobile or working from home) or becoming a salon owner.
